Ap. Harriet and Anderson Ssempala met through their shared commitment to serving vulnerable communities in East Africa. What began as individual callings to ministry and development work soon blossomed into a unified vision for transforming lives across the region. Their complementary skills—Harriet's expertise in public health and community development paired with Anderson's entrepreneurial spirit and ministry leadership—created the perfect foundation for lasting impact.
Together, they founded HS Urban Couture Foundation with a bold mission: to restore dignity and break the cycle of poverty through practical empowerment. They believe that true transformation happens when faith meets action—when communities are equipped with education, vocational skills, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Today, their partnership continues to drive sustainable change across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda, touching thousands of lives with hope and opportunity.
